I ordered one. 134$ after tax. I needed one. Since my wind tunnel. I got refurbished thru Hoover. Sucks. But not in a good way.my neato d7 sucks better.sad I know .And if this doesn't work at least better. I'll send it back before the return period. Plus I can use it for my cleaning company.

The suction is nice, but everything else surrounding that was designed by a sadist.

Keep in mind they don't except returns if you don't like it.

Probably a little late, but ... I've had a refurb of the DC25 Animal bought from Woot back in 2011 and love it. Prior to that, we were going through a ≈$75 vac per year because the others just couldn't cope with medium-length cat hair on low-pile carpet.

We wash the main filter and bin after every use (so every weekend, basically), and the secondary filter about once a year. (ETA: and the roller we take out to clean off on an as needed basis - usually ends up being twice or thrice a year - super easy to take apart and put back together, no tools needed.) We finally had something break earlier this year - the wiring harness for the roller, which is supposedly a known problem - and Dyson repaired it free of charge, though it's been out of warranty for seven years. We've since bought a hand-held Dyson (DC14 maybe?) and that's been more meh than this, but I've loved this. Nothing makes vacuuming genuinely fun, but this makes it generally painless.

The only thing I will point out is that the larger the ball, the less it's able to get under furniture like beds - the width of the ball dictates the clearance. I usually use the handheld with an extension tube, but you could just use the handheld tool for that purpose.

Fantastic price - if our DC25 hadn't been fixed free of charge, I might have considered buying one of these.

If I don't like it. I'll say it's broken. Simple.

Awesome. Thanks for taking the time to provide a detailed feedback! It is much appreciated, I got one coming so hopefully it will work just as great for me too.
