Ridgid 18-Volt Brushless Hammer Drill $99 special buy at HomeDepot.

There may be limited stock in your local store, but it is also offerred online:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../304583628

This is the same price of just 2 batteries, and cheaper than equivalent Ryobi Hammer drill, but includes Ridgid lifetime service & battery agreement.

I use this exact hammer drill to drill through tile, concrete, and brick daily and it does a great job. A rotary hammer drill that takes sds bits is much heavier and takes a lot more space, both tools have jobs they are better fit for but for the average user this will work fine.

yeah... because everybody needs to spend 4x on a rotary hammer. almost every regular consumer buying a 100$ hammer drill will solely use the hammer function for drilling holes in concrete/block/brick to mount things and probably a handful of times at that. this will do every bit of that in a home. then, guess what, they have a regular sized and weighted drill for any normal drilling/screwing they may need to do...

good call, you're obviously a man of the people.

Be a pretty good deal if it included 2x 2.0Ah batteries.

Not a true hammer drill though. If you really need to get through tough material spend the extra money and get one that takes SDS bits.

This has light at bottom, didn't their new model have a glowing ring light around the chuck?

Horses for courses. Rotary hammers are, however, extremely badass.

What free battery? There was never a free battery for this hammer drill. Are you mixed up with another deal?
This drill comes with 2 free battery in the box already.

Agree. The 1.5A battery is a joke. I only use their tool with the 4.0A battery.

Agreed. Even the 2.0A is a joke. I had to recharge it twice yesterday to drill through about 20 joists to run some 4ga....
Still, this is nice for s brushless drill. Still annoyed that I didn't pick up the limited edition set a few months back.

Pasted deal had coupon for free 2.0ah battery if you bought a particular kit. Offer was valid til 7-30. Just asking if this drill would still get you a free 2.0ah battery with coupon. read coupon.
