I never bought one. Take a look at a couple of other threads I started: LInk1 including one that went front page. The Husky version is slightly thicker gauged than it's more expensive Newage counterpart. To me it looks like a better deal than Newage cabinets. My $.02.

The weight varies from 60 lbs to 200 lbs, according to the answered questions on the website.

Wonder what the real weight is?

I called the maker of the cabinet, Sandusky cabinets, and they told me shipping weight is 198 lbs with a pallet it rides on. Depending on the pallet it could be between 150 and 170 lbs. The gladiator cabinet the same size is 24 guage vs. the Husky 22 guage and it is 138 lbs. My estimate based on that would be closer to 150 lbs. My $.02. Hope this helps.

this is a true SD'er. Follows through with thorough product details by contacting the manufacturer from a request of a SD user.

The Kev Master was actually looking at this Gladiator Extra Large cabinet [gladiatorgarageworks.com] and noticed that the dimensions are 48" wide x 72" high x 18" deep vs this at 72 in. H x 46 in. W x 24 in. D

Good price but wish it were a little thicker steel. Something like this is a long term purchase. But, again, good price.

Looked at the comments on Home Depot and 90% of people receive the cabinet with dents/ scratches or various other damages. Not sure if I should pull the trigger on this

I ordered three of them last time they were this price. Take a month to show up and boxes were in great shape. But once opening boxes all three had tops caved in/dented/gouged, beyond fixable. Like manufacturer put in box that way. So returned and home Depot ordered again with price match. Waited another month to be told shipper refused to deliver due to damage. So reordered and price matched again. Finally showing up tomorrow after another month, lol. I don't have much faith they are gonna be in acceptable condition. But have fingers crossed because is the size/price I want and is awesome deal if ever would be undamaged.

Thank you for the head's up on the items arriving damaged. Almost bought, but am going to pass and avoid the likely headaches.

Dang. I think Sandusky (or SanHusky?), ha ha, should fire their freight company. That's ridiculous.

And what's up w/that 'seemingly standard' 1 month wait? Are these things freaking custom-made (by hand, no-less)?

I certainly hope you aren't a small biz owner relying on these flunkies for crucial 'operating equipment' in order to float/grow your daily business activity & maintain customer satisfaction, etc. It doesn't sound like you are... but if you are, I think I'd look elsewhere for a 'cabinet solution'. These guys sound like a 'bonafide joke'.

By hand and then smashed in with a sledgehammer for fun before putting in the box and giving them to the freight company it appears to me. But maybe I'll be shocked tomorrow and get three pristine ones. It's nothing "crucial" that I actually "need", just was a want...I can wait it out. Kinda comical at this point and just want to see how long it takes to get a decent one. Seriously can't believe home Depot or anyone profits in having these things returned that many times. Most of reviews just accept a few dents, if it was only dents versus entire tops caved in I probably would have too, lol. Definitely would look elsewhere if was an actual need.
