Verizon Loyalty Military Credit - Stackable $25-30 Monthly Credit

+85 Deal Score
31,012 Views
I just got off the phone with Verizon and was offered a $30 monthly military credit. I am on the older Unlimited plan that already includes a 15% discount. They confirmed that the $30 credit is stacked with the 15% discount. I was a bit wary due to my experience with T-Mobile so I had them note it in their system as well.

The credit applies to the Unlimited plans. From my understanding, the credit amount is as follows:
$25 for 2 lines
$30 for 3 or more lines

Edit: I added a screenshot to show the discounts

God bless all our military personnel. They deserve every bit of that discount.

Not really, millions use Verizon. I had to fight like hell to get 10% off for 6 months as a "civilian". Really, this is something else. Very nice discount.

T-Mo coverage is crap unless you're in the city.

I'd call up again in 15 to see what notes are in the account from a different rep. Can't even count the number of times the rep was "taking notes on the account so other reps could see if there were any issues going forward" and no notes were ever found

Id rather have data when i deploy and for $80 on 2 lines i get that. Vzw is just too skimpy on extras that tmo does better. Service is on par with what i used to have with vzw.

FYI, for people who have the older unlimited plan from last year, this does not apply to. I called and in order to switch to get discount. Bill would raise to keep the beyond unlimited features. Great deal though for those who have current plan. Tha is for posting was worth a phone call

Would like to modify my previous statement. Just chatted with Verizon and they did give me the credit keeping my existing plan. Thanks op!

Wouldnt be surprised if they switch OP over to the new plan which is inferior to the older unlimited. The promo OP is referring to is for the new plans. I believe the rep who helped OP may be misinformed.

Anyone have any input on whether or not this credit would apply to the newer unlimited plan (which gives me a fixed $15 monthly military discount, in lieu of the 15% military discount)? I only have one line right now, but I'm thinking about adding a second one.

I will be switching one of my lines over to TMO when I deploy. Only provider who will have unlim 4G service where I'm deploying. VZW is pay per usage and expensive or I will need another local provider at the location (TMO has 4G towers across base).

We're about to jump ship from Verizon to Tmobile. Verizon is just too expensive, even with this military discount to rival the savings we'll get on T-mobile's military plan. We have 5 lines and we are paying a crazy amount to Verizon right now. It used to be that their coverage superiority was worth the price, but folks near me that have T-mobile have no complaints, so we just can't justify our phone bill anymore.

This is a small change they introduced to the unlim plan. Im on grandfathered even more plan which i will probably never give up.

You are already receiving the appropriate discount. It is tiered based on the number of lines. Imo it is still not enough, it caps off at $30. So the more lines you have the less impactful this discount is. But for 1 line max you will get is $15.
