Also comes with a free gift (All-Clad Stainless Steel 15" Oval Baker & Pot Holder Set)

To get this price from Macy's:

Add D5 10-pc set: $799.99
Add $3 charity saving pass for 25% discount: minus $200
Use FOURTH promo code for 20% discount: minus $120
Total before tax: $482.99

This can be applied to all All-Clad products (e.g., 7-pc set, 14-pc set, Copper Core, regular Stainless Steel). I got the 7-pc D5 set for $423 since i couldn't justify the extra 3 pieces.

For those shopping for kitchenware, these discounts apply to all OXO products too.

Happy Fourth!

These are *not* nonstick, but as Milko said previously - it's all in how you use it - preheat on low/med heat...do NOT use high heat...and watch what you're doing.

I have a ton of All-Clad and I've never had anything stick.

Anything outside of non-stick pans will need proper technique to use. For stainless steel, you have to preheat on low to medium heat until the pan is hot enough (if you sprinkle some water, it should form droplets and bounce around), then you add oil/butter just long enough that you can hear some sizzling. Then you can add your ingredients.

Check your accounts for Savings Passes that are greater than using the coupon FOURTH.

I had a Savings Pass that took off another $150, for a subtotal of $452.99 (additional $30 off).

The real stuff, if used properly will last longer than you will ever use it for. Provided you dont warp a pan or abuse it.

Can anyone quickly explain what is the best between copper, regular stainless, and this D5 stainless? I have one stainless pan but everything sticks to it but maybe I just don't know what I'm doing. I desperately need a new set of pans.

It depends, copper core distribute heat fast, D5 distribute heat evenly (5-layers), does not warp easily.

Both will stick if not being used properly.

Got this deal last year from Macy's for their July 4th sale for just about the same price. Have been using the D5 brushed stainless set for almost a year and it's definitely worth the price, and a steal at this price.
