I had a CD slot mount similar to this, and all the rubber coating on the mount's "teeth" melted and was forever stuck inside my CD slot. Obviously I never used it anyway, but just something to watch out for and consider.

I have used this in my Toyota Sienna and Mazda 6. Fits fine on both, really strong and stable.

After about 4-5 months though, the actual magnetic base on the mount loosens and cannot be tightened. I am going to explore using super glue.

In all for the price, I would recommend.

APPS2CAR Magnetic Universal is one of the most durable magnetic mounts ive seen.
I do a lot of offroading in my jeep and have have several magentic mounts snap at the arm. This is the only one ive seen so far that holds my iphone 8 plus and doesnt break.

I have this too and it's been the best magnetic mount I've owned.

Great product, I've used cheap Mounts before and was a bit skeptical of this mount . But after using in 2 vehicles for a few months I really like it's function and design.

I have this in the CD mount version. Very well designed and sturdy. The lock mechanism thumb knob works great.

I have this and it's reliable. Only gripe is the nut to tighten into the CD slot blocks the view of things below it. If your CD slot is right above something important (like your clock), you might want to get a different mount.

Have the CD slot mounted version, can confirm that the orientation of the magnetic plate can block whatever's right above it on the console, but otherwise has been a rock solid mount with a flexible viewing angle that can be tightened as well.

This is my biggest complaint as well, otherwise its a solid mount.

There're other models of this type that has the screw on top or a knob facing forward to make the adjustment.

If you remove the magnetic piece and the rubber bumper that the ball connects to, there's a screw that you can retighten. That's what I did with mine and works great again!

And put some blue loctite on it and will never loosen again.
