Yea they waived it when I was canceling it several years ago. I opted to cancel anyway because I stopped using it.

If i had this card a couple of years ago, can i get the bonus again?

In reviewing the T's & C's, it references "multiple cards" but doesn't explicitly say.

I'm pretty sure the first year AF was waived when I applied back in 2014.

The annual fee is NOT waived on this offer. This is an ok deal. I'd rather have the old offer 50k points with fee waived and only $3k minimum spending though.

Chase Sapphire Reserve or Preferred looks better than this

or the USBank Altitude Reserve (YMMV). 63K points will just be equivalent to $630 worth of travel, but 50K points on either USBank Altitude can be at least $750 with an effective Annual fee of $75. On top, you get limited lounge access and 12 free wifi passes on flights.

Points are worth $600 and you get 3000 miles back. You pay for the tickets and redeem the ticket cost with these miles when your statement posts. Ultimate rewards points from CSR/CSP or membership reward points from AMEX are more valuable than this as you can transfer them to various airline partners
