I love buying these 120GB drives cheap and putting them in old computers. It turns them into a really decent internet machine that I can give to family members.

If a 250gb SSD gets close to this I might be in as a boot drive and move my current 500gb over for more game space.

This is realky nice deal for an boot device for light pc stuff.I personalky would stick to the 250gb range for gaming extra space for saves and such.

240gb isn't gonna be this cheap for a lonnggg time unless you get a refurb or a pos brand. Don't think you wanna risk data on that.

Hence why I said if...and I would settle for even 39.99 which would be more plausible with the right deal and discount.

Also I would never trust any current SSD for keeping any data safe.I could get two platter drives for cheap and use the second as a backup for the first one.I get SSD for speed not safe guarding data.

Does anyone know how are these PNY drives are as compared to the Inland Professional 120gb drives that Amazon had for $24.99 last couple weeks?

I need 8 or 9 for boot/OS drives for a bunch of business PC's I'm working on.

You guys think I should get these for a tad bit more or wait until the 9th for the Inland drives to be restocked at Amazon?

<OR>

Does anyone know where I can buy a "lot" or 10 pack SSD drives wholesale or anything like that?

Any suggestions are appreciated guys. Thanks!

You can't add extra space to laptop without hard equipment to make it work .. usually laptops are capable of one hard drive .. unless otherwise customized when purchased if such is available

According to this [dell.com], there are two types of that model, a tablet form and a laptop form. The tablet form can not be upgraded. You'd have to swap out the motherboard. For the cost of the motherboard, SSD and RAM you'd be better off exchanging the tablet form for the laptop form if you're within the return period.

Google is your friend.

Many laptops that have an optical drive allow you to replace the optical drive with a second HDD/SSD caddy. The caddies can be had for cheap on ebay and Amazon from the U.S. and China.

Recently bought an nvidia shield and I've been looking for a drive to expand the internal storage. I was leaning towards a jump drive but a small cheap SSD like this makes the most sense for the price and storage size so I ordered one of these just now along with a sata to usb cable from Amazon. Total spent is $40 for a fast read/write 120GB drive! That's better than any jump drive in that price range.
