2 Tide liquid x $4.99
2 Tide pods x $4.99
- $3 Tide liquid q x 2
- $3 Tide pods q x 2
= $7.96 and get 5k points

Note: 2nd Tide liquid q is a beeper.

If you live in an area that charges a dime for a plastic bag at checkout, the plastic bag will count as filler for you to use your RR. However, it will not count as volume towards a deal requirement. For example, if you're at $49.95 and you need to get to $50 to do a 40k points redemption, the plastic bag isn't going to help you. You need to buy actual product.

I'd do the Tide deal (2 liquid and 2 pods) and then look 4 super cheap clearance to use as fillers for your RR's. The problem with $.99 RR's is that when your filler costs $.69 that's 70% of the value of the RR. Can't do that. You need something really cheap.
I also have a clipped offer on my card too. It's the 7,000 points WYS $20. so 'm assuming I will get the 7,000 points also ?

My scenario didn't work out like I thought it would. I ended up getting 4 Tides (2 liquid and 2 pods), 10 Hi-Chews, and a really cheap clearance item. That gave me a little over $30 in volume before q's and $22 in q's. My total after tax was $10.10 and I paid with 10k points and a dime and received 5k points from Tide. I didn't have the 7k offer so I don't know how that would work in my scenario.

You will on my first scenario and also if you pay with RR's. You just have to do $20 in volume before coupons. 4 Tides by themselves will leave you slightly short.

Sorry, in my first scenario you'll have to bump your coupon total up to $20. 8 Hi-Chews will do it (instead of 3 as I posted). It's ymmv if your store will let you do it.
Thanks. Smilie can I us 4 tide coupons and get 4 fillers for the $1.99 RR ?

Okay. I might have stumbled on why some coupons weren't going through last week with P&G. Apparently some are attaching to the wrong items, then causing the subsequent coupons to beep because they don't have anything to attach to.

So people on FB are saying that to help avoid this. Scan the product, then the coupon it corresponds to, then the next item and the coupon it corresponds to, and so on.

But people are still having issues with some DQs attaching the wrong item... and for how to avoid that? I don't have a clue.

Edit: just to clarify - I don't think this will be an issue if you're buying just 4 Tides.

True. However there are two separate Tide $3 coupons.. one for the Pods and one for the liquid. And both are on sale. So you can buy 2 pods and 2 liquids, then use 2 Pod Qs and 2 Liquid Qs and be within the parameters of the coupon.

To answer your Q TweetTweet: Yes, you can buy 4 Tides (2 pods and 2 liquids) then use 4 fillers and use your $1.99 RRs to pay.. that will bump you up over $20 and you should get back 5k in points for the P&G deal and 7k for your 7k WYS $20 perk... just don't use points to pay!
