I have asolos and so does wife. We just got back from Canada where we hiked a lot. First ascent and my wife's soles came off...both of them. Good thing I had tape. High end boots should not do that. We got her some Vasques in Canmore. I searched and found Asolo has issues with 'exploding' soles. Mine are ok and fit like a glove and are comfy, even after a 17 miler at Mt Robson with a 55lb pack. If you like Asolo, Sierra trading post carries a lot of that brand and there are usually good coupon codes to be had

Not meaningful unless you state which models. Had numerous Asolos - both my wife and I, and others we know. Never an issue. Might be model specific.

This is a very common issue with Asolos across the board. You must be lucky because I have seem/had pairs from inexpensive to very high end that all had sole issues. After having problems I did some research and it's all over the internet about their terrible quality.

I would recommend taking a few statistics and marketing courses... or go into politics... or heck, both!
I know quite a bit about statistics actually. And what would marketing have to do with this? Other than Asolo trying to cover up their crap quality?

What models do you have that are so superior?

I'm glad the asolos I have do not exhibit this problem. I've read the reviews and must be lucky.
