I've ordered stuff from Adorama via Google Express several times during the last few months. I was never charged sales tax. I just assumed that it was because I was almost 1500 miles from Adorama.

Since the recent 25% code started showing up, I always see a sales tax that's a little more than 11.27 percent. I can't figure how why it's 11.27 percent. My own state's sales tax is only 6%. Who is adding the sales tax on there now? And at almost DOUBLE my state's own sales tax, who's keeping the extra money? Frown

What's even stranger is that I tried this with my MIL's Gmail acct. She lives in Delaware...when I try to check out with Adorama items on Google Express, it shows a strange 9.83% sales tax. (her billing and shipping address are the same, in Delaware, a state with no sales tax)

Anybody knows what's going on? Thanks!

I saw the same thing, I just assumed it was some weird internal thing to make up for the coupon. It does suck but even with that number it's still a great deal!

Am I the only one seeing that Google Express only gives 20% discount up to $20? It doesn't take off $100
