I purchased these previously when they were on a lightning deal. Not impressed. Low quality ANC chip and implementation. Many of the positive reviews are sensationalized and in broken English. You can do the math.

Sound is OK, it's not going to blow anyone out of the water, but in a vacuum, they are decent sounding.

From there, it's downhill.
- When you turn the ANC on, it changes the sound signature significantly.
- The ANC produces frequent feedback that generate popping sounds from both speakers. This is usually when there are banging sounds or bumps in the road (think traveling in a bus or the subway) that create noise the ANC cannot deal with. This makes the ANC and headphones pretty much useless. Either I can deal with the loud commute or loud popping sounds in each speaker. Not much of a choice.
- ANC was also unbalanced. There was considerably more white noise emitting from the left speaker than the right. This created a dizzying effect.
