I remember getting the single team option in 2016, then had to get the playoffs added on via a special link because the regular playoffs subscription didn't work. Last year, I got the full sub during a flash sale and don't remember whether I needed to buy an additional playoffs sub. Anyone know if the playoffs sub comes with either regular season sub?

It ended up being like $2 cheaper for me in 2016 to get the playoffs added on to the one team compared to having the full league sub, but it was a hassle because I had to contact them to ask how to do it.

I remember not being able to watch because I'm close to Seattle... About 1000 Miles.

I wonder if those at MLB.tv have figured that out yet?

Man...I have been hoping they'd offer that $9.99 deal again like they did on June 29 last year. Also $9.99 for their Anniversary Sale on August 25 last year.

Separately, anyone have experience with those $5/6 accounts off eBay [ebay.com]? For that price, it's probably worth a try.

Hmm, decent enough of a price that I'd probably go in on it now.

There should be a ton of people that got free accounts via the T-Mobile Tuesday deals that happens every year.

I'm guessing that's what some of the ebay links are.

I'm in Iowa, and I guess since we don't have a MLB team they decided to block us out for 6 teams? Confused

I ordered one with my eBay bucks. I'll report back after work.

I thought the same thing about the ones for sale on ebay, so I tried it, but wouldn't do it again. At least for the one I bought, it was shared with multiple people, so every time I logged on the settings were changed (favorite and followed teams were different, hide scores was toggled, etc). I probably could've gotten use to that, but then I was always getting booted because "account in use at another location", so I'd have to restart the app. Eventually MLB.tv must've caught on and the account was closed. The seller was great about sending a new username and password, but the new account had all the same problems. Noticed some folks on here selling some from their T-Mobile accounts. It cost a little more, but well worth being the only one using the account. Bought a 2nd one for a family member a little later for the same price as what they're going for on ebay. I bet there are still some available if you keep checking. The last one I got was from someone posting in a thread like this during the previous sale. Hope that helps.

I have two MLB accounts I made during the T-Mobile freebie earlier this year that I am willing to part with for a $5 amazon GC each. Blackout restrictions apply for in market games and nationally televised games. PM me if you want one. I am the sole owner of these and have never used them.

Yeah, to be fair... You could drive all day every day to any of those teams for games, I would need a Jet.

I don't get their logic. You would have to be a Wicked Die Hard fan to drive 100 miles one way for games, let alone several hundred. Besides, there is probably a sports bar anywhere for blank team, but I don't want to hang around drunks.

By the way, if you email them and ask about their ridiculous rule, they will blame it on your local stations!
