P series is better than M. And 2018 is better than 2017 model.

I asked that question because for M75-E1, dell says, Market Value $2499 - $800 = $1699

while for p75-f, its $2299

how come market value of M75 is $2499

Dell always inflates the "normal" price so that they can give huge discounts.

This isnt a good deal. You can get this TV for $1350 with no annoying Dell promo card that expires in 90 days.

This deal
$1700+tax works out to be around $1830. Plus the promo card expires in 90 days and is difficult to resell. Will probably only get $400 for it. Makes the net $1430 with a bit of effort. (there is a decent chance you will get scammed selling the promo card as well and get nothing)

Walmart deal
$1500+tax works out to be around $1620. Minus $150 in cash back is $1470 with zero effort and much easier returns if something goes wrong.

The small price difference simply isnt worth the hassle. Personally I would just pay the extra $500 and get the P75-F1. It is a huge step up in quality.

EDIT: User pointed out there is a current 10% CB on Dell as well. It would make this deal $1830- $170 CB - $400 from promo card for a total of $1260. It would end up being about $200 cheaper than the Walmart deal if you can resell the Dell promo card without being scammed. A $200 savings may be worth the risk to most people here.

Personally I stand by my recommendation to just skip this TV all together and pay a bit more for the P75-F1 for the significant improvement in quality, but a $700 increase in price may be a bit more than some are willing to spend for the P75-F1.

Direct comparison... it's not even close. Much more value if you can afford the P75-F1. Sold out everywhere except for Costco which has it for just $1,999 + tax.

I so miss plasma. Imagine a 4k plasma. It would blow away OLED and everything else.

I actually agree with you, though it won't stop me from mentioning how insanely relevant your comment is.
