I'm a Nirviana fan. I'm also a vinyl collector with just over 6,000 albums in my collection. I own this. It is the worst remastered vinyl I've ever played. Sound is horrible. Very muffled and static. Volume will need to be turned up to about double of what you normally listen to music at to hear it. Very disappointing.

Not much info given.

$24 Seems like a good deal on Bleach double vinyl. This edition will include an unreleased live recording of a complete February 9th, 1990 show at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon.

This 20th Anniversary Edition has been re-mastered from the original tapes.

Can someone please enlighten me about the appeal of vinyls? I've only got to experience playing records on tapes and CDs. All my Nirvana albums were on tape Stick Out Tongue

I bought the 2-disc 45rpm version of this album a few months ago for a couple of bucks more & it sounds absolutely amazing.

It is sort of a nostalgia thing. Record companies have found there is a lot of money in it, so the are just riding the wave. Some audiophiles say nothing beats a record. To each there own.

The claim, I believe, is that they sound "better". The theory is, if produced using the straight analog source, you are not converting from analog (source) -> digital (media) -> analog (speakers). I own many vinyls but I can't say they sound any better on my setup than playing the same record on iTunes, but I like the idea of owning a piece of history. Plus my Zone 2 on my stereo doesn't do digital audio out, so my vinyls will play on the back porch but iTunes will not.

They are fun to watch play. Also, some producers will spend more time in the vinyl master which leads to a better finished produced. The Avett Brothers did that with I and Love and You. Otherwise digital is better.

Hipsters trying to be cool. Vinyl is inferior for playback.
