Was in Costco today and noticed both of these. They had 3 of the E series and 2 of the M series. Not displays, brand new. Probably clearing out these 2017 models.

* means will not be inventoried or older model, not a clearance price with $.88

Costco tags clearance/closeout items by charging a price ending in "7" . Note that the $900 price tag shows that the price was previously 1199.97!

We had one at 799.88 at the local Costco. I don't think this unit can do local dim or HDR

Yes the 65 e series can. i have the 65 inch version out by the pool. got it at walmart clearance for 349. grant you its not the best local dimming only like 12 zones but it can do it and hdr. The M series is better tv and well worth the 900$. i have the 65m in my bedroom.
