no worries, this is a rebate from EVGA processed by rebateaccess.
it's not a Newegg rebate nor processed by 4myrebate.

This power supply is awesome, fully modular, quiet, power efficient and small compared to the g2 series. Have one but paid much more for mine.

I paid slightly more for mine but it's great.... the grips about fan noise .... I've can't hear my fan but I've also never had it in Ecco mode works great plus 10 year warranty can't beat it... also I really like the size smaller foot print.

I believe if you register it with EVGA, they will extend the warranty to 12 years.

This is potentially a great PSU but I think more than enough power for most people. Most people would probably be fine with 650 or 750. The major parts like CPU and GPUs dont even eat that much power these days. Especially if just using one GPU.

actually for most people a 450W-550w is perfectly fine.

I've had two of these crap out on me with no foul play involved, both replaced by EVGA themselves. Decided to switch brands after, which sucks because there's always good deals on them :/

Ive always bought EVGA power supplies because they offer such great prices and good quality. I feel their newer and newer offerings are more about cutting corners. Their new G1+ is actually from FSP, which is commonly used in their GQ lines, it should really be called GQ2. The G# lines are always made by Superflower. They are also started subbing out the B3 ( bronze level superflower ) with RSY power supplies. It would stand to reason this can happen with the G3 also. It would be extremely difficult to figure without actually opening the power supply. EVGA has built a lot of goodwill into their brand with their power supplies and i just want them to continue their good work without resorting to shady cost cutting measures such as bait and switch. Please evga uphold your reputation!

The negative reviews for evga psu's tend to be about frying someone's pc. No thx. I had to return a lowend corsair that was doa. I'll wait for a good seasonic deal since my seasonic is 8yrs old and still going.
