Long time lurker, first time posting deals here so I hope this helps.

Onkyo TX-NR676 7.2-Ch Network A/V Receiver listed by Newegg on Ebay for $250.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Onkyo-TX...4667ad4afc

This is actually lower than the 575 version they have posted for $299. Throw on the 10% coupon on this comes down to $224.10 with free shipping and no taxes for most. This looks like the lowest price ever. Last front page deal was $238.

That isn't correct. It's 4k ready. Look at the product page at onkyousa.com. this thing is packed with features.

This is wrong, it supports 4K.

I purchased this the last time it hit frontpage (https://slickdeals.net/f/11691063-onkyo-tx-nr676-7-2-channel-network-a-v-receiver-238-free-shipping-ebay?v=1) for $238 shipped, it's amazingly full-featured for the price! If you're in the market this is too good to pass up!

I am on the fence with this one. I like the idea of having the unit switch the HDMI instead of having to hit the source button on my TV all the time for the video and then turn on my older receiver.

I didn't see anything for the unit being able to power on other devices when turned on, did I miss it by chance? I'd like to have my Tivo remote power on the receiver along with my TV (without getting a logitech remote). Any chance that is possible?

It can definitely power on other sources or vice versa. I just set this up this last weekend and that feature definitely works better than my old Onkyo

one thing I think is extra cool is once you pair your phone or tablet or whatever to it via Bluetooth you can actually just repair and it will power the unit on.

This is the feature I find myself enjoying the most. I get home from work, pair my phone to the Onkyo BT, and the receiver automatically turns on and sets the output to Bluetooth. Also Spotify Connect is clutch!

How does this compare to the Denon - 560W 7.2-Ch. With HEOS 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver?
