I like the concept... but, why limit yourself to a row of 6 containers? I use SO many more spices than that regularly...

A quick google search shows a set of 18 magnetic spice containers, for only $19.99 (plus $9 shipping) which is much cheaper per container, plus there is no weird strip or limitation on the number. Then again.... you don't get Martha Stuarts "pizza" spice....

As for the metal strip... I'm hoping that's used to mount to something non-magnetic (inside cabinet door vs. fridge?)

Personally thinking of doing the entire side of my fridge in a colorful mosaic of spices that only I understand Smilie
