The (NEW) refers to the new case style of the "My Book" line, vs. the rounded corners of the old style case. If you scroll down the page you can see a picture of the old style case (same as the Elements line) under the RELATED PRODUCTS banner.

I personally prefer the old case with the rounded corners as they're easier to shuck, but for these size dirves they all contain the same 'Blue" drive inside.

I really want 2 of the 4s for an archive, but just don't feel like I can trust them. Feel as if NEW 4tb units should be less than $70 at this point.
