179$ on Amazon. I know they are coming out with their 12.0ah sometime this summer. I wonder if they are trying to clear inventory before the Dewalt event in August.

I got this on an Ebay deal from CPO a few months back for $120. Likely to see that drop again with the 12.0 coming.

Not yet. They will probably bundle it with the 12.0ah battery

Next stop - a 16aH the size of a small car battery.

Seriously. I love my flexvolt circular saw, but weight definitely isn't on its side. But I guess these big batteries would be great for the miter saw

Watch out apparently eBay is not a legitimate place to get a Slickdeal even tho every1 is here to get the best price and 9 times out of 10 they have best price. And from DeWalt your stuff is still warrantied by date code

Bigger batteries are necessary to power there outdoor equipment line - ie chainsaws and lawnmowers. The egos go up to 7.5ah @ 56V. Which would be the roughly equivalent of a 22.5ah @ 20v.

Me too, great deal, I think it dropped to like $109 with some coupon at the time as well... I honestly didn't realize how great of a deal it was, I would have got two! Anyhow, I'd wait till it drops to that price again.

I picked up a two pack of 9ah when they first came out on eBay from factory outlet on a price mistake. They were selling 1 for 199 and another listing for 2 for 199 as well. They changed the price later but I already paid and my item shipped. I also had a co worker hop on the deal as well and I had more batteries then him so I traded him 2 6ah for 1 9ah battery. Then I got flexvolt trimmer, blower, and chainsaw, when first came out, from a local contractor supply called diamond tool in Philly and they ran a promo in store only which gave a free 6ah with each yard tool kit purchased. So I got 6 9ah batteries, 4 at work and 2 at home

It is noticeably heavier than the 6.0 Maybe about 1/2 pound more. I did see that the 12.0 is coming out at the beginning of August. I have a bunch of the 6's, and one of the 9's. Not sure I would be interested in the 12, especially when it retails for $229
