Tremendous deal for LG 2017 Model 65" OLED 4K TV. Wal-Mart has 90 day return policy. Hard to find comparison's for this specific model, but the nearly identical, brand new OLED65B7A is going for around $2,500 through various merchants on Amazon.

Are the Walmart Protection Plans decent? Just worry about getting a junker that they replace with another junker.

I am worry about the burn-in problem of all oled tv, especially if it has the title "refurbished". And LG already noticed that burn-in is not their problem, so it cannot be covered by your warranty even if you extend the warranty.

I have looked at this for a little bit on walmart, good returns etc but can't PP a refurb so can get cheaper with PP and new if you have a card that will do it.

The Walmart care plan seems to cover pixel damage, which means they do cover burn in?

Price protection , citi chase discover. Although discover only one still offering up to 500.00. But it new and then use PP from a bait and switch site that is offering for cheap. Get a rebate check.

I would be a little concerned bc of the burn in issues. If you don't watch channels with logo on them for hours straight it is likely alright but who knows what happened with these refurbs. I have this same model bought new last October for 1599 after PP. No issues with it and I love it but I would think before pulling the trigger

FYI, this price point has been going on for a few months now, comes and goes out of stock sometimes as well. There's another SD thread with the 55" refurbished with lots of info, some got their TV with no hours displayed and some with 200-500, so YMMV.

I bought one and had it set for pickup at store (for additional discount) and it somehow was lost in transit by Walmart. Of course, Walmart wouldn't do anything about it nor send another one till the day after the date given for delivery. And then that delivery date for the replacement was another two weeks. So, a month after order done for delivery (hopefully) of it, so I just cancelled the order. Walmart wouldn't even offer a 5% refund for it being lost, as some others on the SD were offered when theirs was lost as well.

Worked out though for me, just got a 65" C8 open box for $1900, the 65" B7 from Walmart was $1700 OTD for me, so for $200 more, new model year and one trim up. BTW, the C8 was from eBay, no tax and after the eBay $100 promo yesterday.

EDIT: Here's the link to that 55" Walmart refurbished thread: 55" Walmart Thread
