Contacted ihome support about the lights and they said the lights can be turned on or off and sent me the manual. "Press and hold the Light Mode Button for 1 second to turn the lighting effect ON or OFF. When your headphones are paired with a Bluetooth device, press the Light Mode Button once to select a 'slow glow', and press again for the light to pulse along to your music."

So I'm in for one. Thanks

My son is on his second pair. The first worked fine until the multi function button (used mainly for on/off) would no longer work. It became unresponsive, as if something broke within the button. He has only had it for 18 days, beyond BB's typical return policy. Additionally, one of the ear padding started to come undone as well.

Called iHome, and long story short, they did replace it. However, the email stated that this was a courtesy and that "physical damage" was not normally covered. I still contend the design is flawed. At this point, no longer under warranty.

He has had his replacement now for about a month of daily use and it works just fine with his Android phone. Battery life is good for an easy 15-20 hours for him, but he turns it off when he is not not using it.

Ymmv, but if you are careful they can be a good buy.

Hows the quality? iHome has this reputation of using cheap parts.

Free shipping to home for me!
Reviews say great for kids and adults - adults may not like because of lights on the side.
I'm in for 2!

I was going to ask the same thing, thinking of picking up a couple of pairs for the kids on a upcoming trip where 43 hours of battery life will be helpful!

I would assume the 43 hours may be a standby estimate if it actually has 43 hours of play time they would be much heavier and not good for children.

Went to FP pretty quick! I am skeptical about ihome, but reviews on BB seem solid.
