Espresso is in the grind, not in the kind of coffee.
This offer is whole beans, so you grind it for espresso.

Last time I ordered, it worked just fine for cold-brew. If you're really in to coffee then you're not buying from Amazon anyway. For everyone else, it's no worse than what you'd buy at the grocery store.

yes... ANY bean needs to be ground fine for expresso... I understand your point, it's correctish… espresso is a way to prepare coffee, which includes the type of gring. would that bean be good for espresso however (what I interpret the person to have asked)? imo, no. French roast is essentially burnt, over roasted coffee... but some people seem to like that.

The problem is if you're buying from Amazon, in my experience at least you're going to get a bag that's been sitting there at least 1-2 months. I've always got 2-3 month old roasts. They are OK though.

Personally, I'd go some where else if you want really fresh roasts.

People here in this specific post probably don't like medium roast but, peets big bang from Amazon is an amazing blend, and I'd highly suggest trying it.

Not that we're opposed to a medium roast. Most of us would probably prefer it. It's just that it's not a... wait for it... slick deal

These are $4.99 each if you buy 5 this week at Ralph's if you're in SoCal.
