Yes. If you don't want to destroy the case, you need to cover up some tabs on the outer case; there are plenty of tutorials online.

Then just remove the SATA to USB connector. I believe you also need to reformat the drive before use.

Why no love?? This is equiv to Best Buy's ~$140 price point ... it would have been FP with 200+ TU by now if it were from BB... lol

I think it is because of what drives are in this, I looked on Youtube and saw Blue drives not the Red or White. Could be wrong but waiting for confirm

I agree and almost everyone will pay tax with BB so therefore it's a worse deal for most people.

Almost certainly white labels. Same mechanical/electronic specs as red label. You may have problems with the 3.3v wire on certain enclosures. I didn't need to change anything to use this with my typical ATX power supply connected to a PC.
