I see a better prices on Lenovo Perks. The same basic T480 is $716 with the code and $639 via Perks.

FYI - Costco in my area had the X1 carbon, i7/16gb/512gbssd non-touch in store for 1499. Its now back to 1599 but a good deal none the less.

Wow finally a ThinkPad sales. Configed a T580 with 16gb of ram, MX150 and 500gb spinning hard drive(buy my own m2 SSD) down below 1k. So temping.

I stick with the i5-8350U for a much lower price to still get a MX150. IMO the performance different between i7-8550U and i5-8350U is NONE. laugh out loud

There's an ebay seller with T570 and 3 year on site accidental warranty for $799. Might want to take a look at that one. Specs aren't quite as good, but if you are interested in the warranty, you can upgrade the ram and add a hdd.
