Best Buy via Ebay is offering the Insignia 2.1 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Sub Woofer for just $37.49.

I purchased this unit for $50 a few months ago, and while not a high end, it's definitely a good soundbar for the price.

It retails for 149.99

Sound bars are like a fashion thing. They're good looking and simple to use but will perform at a lower level but still better than tv Speakers. It's because the drivers are small but they make it up in quantity. It's basically like having 7 dedicated channel bluetooth speakers put in one bar. if you have the room and knowledge to spend a little more time to get good speakers an set it up, speakers will be better by far. sound bars are good for the simple plug and play user.

How is the bass on this? If I connect to my TV via Bluetooth, to have the sound bar mounted on the wall above me, is there lag between what's on screen and the speaker?

So I know nothing about sound bars. Are they really that good? Do they easily attach to like the bottom/top of a TV? Just looking for some info. Been googling it but all I read is people saying "get speakers instead they are better"

I bought one. I'm sure this is low end, but for the price, it's better than anything else in that range!

soundbars are (typically) and affordable/good option for adding decent sound to typically crappy tv speakers. They usually don't mount TO the tv, but rather sit below them.

usually connect to the TV via optical audio cable (or RCA). Bluetooth is common as well now, but more so for external devices to output to them (like phone/tablet/etc).

Dedicated speakers (and amplifier) tend to be more for audiophiles who have money to burn and space/etc. A 'proper' dedicated speaker setup will often cost as much/more than the TV.

will this, or other sound bars do any kind of audio adjusting? Our TCL P605 will not adjust peak audio volume, so it will be quiet during a show and scream during commercials.

Wow. That's a pretty good deal. I'm guessing it's not that powerful at 60W total but for 37 bucks with a wireless sub... great alternative to the built-in speakers.

Will this auto turn on / off with my TV remote (like my cheap vizio one) or will I have to turn it on individually? Thanks!

ARC cable slot? Don't want to use two different remotes if possible.

I paid full price for the soundbar about two years ago. To date, would still pay full price for it. I used it in my bedroom with the subwoofer under my night stand. Clarity was better than anticipated coming from a klipsch r-10b that I repurposed.

Very basic soundbar, delivers audio via rca, optical, and bluetooth. Nothing more. Didn't mess with the EQ/DSP stuff, made things sound tinny.
