I have this guitar and I love it. It's become my main gigging guitar. It is very good stock, but I did make some quick upgrades to meet my personal preferences (graphtech nut, fender locking tuners, graphtech saddles). Be aware that it is, like a Mustang, a short scale guitar (24 inch scale as opposed to the traditional 25.5 inch Fender usually uses.) The single coil pickup in the neck is a little low output but is workable. The humbucker in the bridge is solid and I don't feel the need to replace it - good for most styles of rock except maybe metal. At $360 its a fantastic deal.

I have one of these, got one of of the last go rounds of this deal. Fantastic even stock, and awesome build platform for those looking to mod.

Would be even better if this price showed up in Google Express. Smilie

I guess it is not a classic fender.

For the non-crazy guitar people out there:

this is a pretty rare color combo, and it's usually over $500. it's a short scale, which means it's 24" instead of 25.5" like most fenders are. this is a official fender at a squier price and it doesn't happen very often. if you're looking for a guitar that will be worth $800 in 6 months, get this now.

i have way too many guitars, and i'm not personally a fan of this series, but if this were a jaguar or a jazzmaster i'd already be ordering it. i hope someone gets this and loves it. it's gonna be a rarity very soon.

24" scale is a fun guitar to play.

Gives you reach like you are Jimi Hendrix or something.....

Can anyone comment if this comes with even a gig bag? I assume no case.

I believe the last time this deal was around there was no case and it ships in the box fender sent.

No case or bag, just guitar in a shipping box. It will fit in a case fitted for Strat/Tele-style bodies, which is what mine's in.

Nice. I put a Fender Enforcer in the bridge (with an A8 magnet swapped in for the ceramic) and a Dimarzio Injector Bridge model in the neck. It will handle just about any style.

Yeah, while this might be the Adorama exclusive, its color and maple neck won't make it worth that much.
