All the current reviews are positive - mostly because they probably got a free one to try. laugh out loud

prices better from apple education directly because you get free beats headphones on top of the preexisting education discount

When the f*** did Apple suddenly come out with 2018 MBPs? Anyone else feel like this just came out of nowhere?

Just a processor bump and minor improvements to butterfly kb, nothing dramatic. That's why they didn't announce it at last month conference.

The processor bump is pretty dramatic though right? Like, these are arguable the biggest jump in CPU power the MacBook Pros have ever seen since retina displays became available, and by far. Rather than the 10% or whatever increase, performance of the 13" line should be double. It's actually what I've been waiting for to replace my 2013 MacBook Pro, hence why I've been looking into an announcement like this.

The CPU bump is long overdue. Depending on your usage, it might not be dramatic. 2013/2015 are still good system, I'd keep it until a true redesign.

What would you look for in a true redesign?
