Haven't seen a newspaper in years, but for that price I would check it out.

But they don't deliver to Northern Santa Barbara county, but heckuva deal

Used to be a very good paper, but not worth the stress. They changed hands a bunch of times and are owned by corporate leeches picking the bones dry whilst deceiving consumers.

note:

By accepting this offer you are agreeing to a CONTINUOUS SUBSCRIPTION, which will automatically renew until you cancel by calling 1-213-283-2274. After the 52-week $51.48 introductory rate, you will be automatically charged $51.48 every 52 weeks. All subscriptions include 4 Premium Issues per year. For each Premium Issue, your account balance will be charged an additional fee up to $4.49 in the billing period when the section publishes. This will result in shortening the length of the billing period.

the LA times has been severely lacking on store mailers/coupons for like the last year. I got this last september for all those sweet sweet coupons and you get like 2 store ads and random fliers now. its disappointing.

They have relentless telemarketing...have to give them throwaway ph# too.
I had Thurs-Sun for $20/yr for many years until a few years ago, and haven't seen many promos in the past few years. Thanks for the post!

It was awesome when supermarket chains in LA had double coupons and you could get lots of free/cheap stuff that way. Now that the supermarket chains did away with that, I didn't bother with any coupons under $1 and then just stopped altogether eventually.

I signed up for this same deal a few months ago and have received my paper a total of three times. I've called multiple times to complain but they say they will credit me and suggest I use the online version of the paper.

I subscribe to LA times for $9.88 because I need the scrap paper.

the coupons really suck because Redplum hasn't been putting their coupons in there.
All you get is shitty smartsource and P&G coupons.

coupons.com is usually better, and you no longer need to install their coupon printing spyware.

How do they limit people from printing more than 2 then?

the coupons are linked to a cell phone number, and they give you two unique coupons for each item.

doesn't work with voip cell phones like Freedompop though.

They now let you save to pdf, so you could technically print 9999999 copies, but as soon as the coupons go back for redemption, they will scan the barcode and likely blacklist your phone number, ip address, etc, and you won't be able to print anymore, unless you register another cell phone number.

If there were some super high value coupon, you could be an ass and use a bunch of copies....... The store would not get reimbursed, and your number would get banned.
It's worth the risk for some people though, if they need a lot of products and have burner phones.
