Oh my.
I realize that they don't make coffee snob quality coffee but Keurig cups are about convenience, not about making 'a proper and true' cup of coffee.
I usually buy loafs of presliced bread, I don't always bake true bread at home.
I buy veggies at the store although home grown ones are always better quality.

eeek. why? its not that light and most hotel rooms either have a coffee maker in the room (just clean it) or you can go downstairs and buy a cup in the lobby or restaurant. we arent talking about a lot of money here to buy a cup of coffee as opposed to lugging around a coffee maker!!!!
EEK!

I will admit that this one is perfect for a RV.

I bought one a while back for my mom to put in her closet with her mini fridge. She is getting up in years and instead of going downstairs some mornings (bad hip and lots of steps in her house), she makes herself a coffee and has some fruit or oatmeal (using the hot water from the Keurig) for breakfast. She calls her closet with the fridge and Keurig now her little 'concierge room'.Applause

Perfect timing was thinking about buying one for my desk at work. Price seems good as well.

Reviews are not great and a new version of the mini is out soon (see Target.com) which seems to improve on the design, allowing for taller cups to fit.

I used mine on the desk at work and it went on every vacation with us when we went by car. For travel mugs, I just dumped the coffee from a cup into the travel mug. We paid $80 for it and it was worth every penny. Coffee in my nightgown without dealing with the strangers in the lobby or driving around a strange city looking for decent coffee is worth the minor inconvenience of packing it. And some towns have horrible coffee no matter how much you pay as the water supply sucks so we also take bottled water--an even bigger inconvenience but it is worth it for us to enjoy the trip.

French press is too messy to deal with while traveling or on my work desk. I do have one at home where it is much easier to deal with the coffee grounds.

Interestingly enough that is my one complaint about this version. Even when I take out the drip tray, some mugs dont fit underneath.
