I've never bought gift cards online before. Are these GCs people didn't need and sold to Raise? Is there some guarantee that these have the correct balance on them?

Raise is pretty reliable. I've ordered both physical as well as e cards and never had a problem

I have never had a problem with raise. I order from them with their app a few times a week. Sometimes a store or restaurant acts alittle funny about entering the GC # and me not having physical card but it always works. One time I bought a GC that was for first time customers only and didn't notice and Raise credited me back even though they probably didn't have to.

I use them to buy papajohns cards right before I order pizza. GC is delivered in minutes, and never had an issue with PJ accepting. Always been a quick way to save a couple dollars.

Yes you do have the risk of getting.incorrect balance. Never happened to me from Raise, but did happen from other vendors. Get them, check balance and spend them ASAP

You have to be more careful if adding to a personal account with something like Starbucks ... if you tie it to your account, they will close it if the money added tends out to be fraudulent.

Great timing. Used $5 off and got 17% off for $70 worth of Nintendo eshop gc's. Came out to $58
$70-10%-$5

Just gotta wait for those digital deals.

Fingers crossed for MARIO kart 8 deluxe.

Make sure you plan to use the GC right away and preferably at a physical store / in store pickup.

Purchased a GC once from Raise and it ended up having a frozen balance since a stolen CC was used to fill it.

But Raise seems great in giving you a refund in those cases. Just, again, use the GC right away.
