Good if you're desperate, but sub-$10 is available a few times a year via Jos. A. Bank, which are Woodlores with a different brass tag nailed to them.

I truly can no longer tell when people are being "ironic" or sarcastic or when they're being sincere on the internet anymore. But I'm still going to answer your question because even if you're not being serious, some people are legitimately not understand why and how these are used as they have fell out of of fashion in their use given how damn cheap/nigh disposable dress/leather shoes have become as well as the manufacturing process changing and people's homes being less subject to extreme temperatures and changes in humidity so these items are less warranted and used then they used be 20+ years ago.

Shoe trees are used to keep dress shoes (leather primarily but any material that may shrink or warp as it desicates) from shrinking as well as making sure they hold the shape of your foot when you first break them in.

You'll still see evidence of this principle being of some concern today if you've ever bought new shoes that are stuffed with paper that you have to remove to try the shoes on. Manufactures have simply cheaped out.

I've seen some comparisons online, these trees are a better fit for allen edmonds and possibly some more designer shoes. I really only need 2 more trees so idk if I should order these. Also these are the same as allen edmonds shoe trees with different brass labels, not Jos a bank.

If anyone wants a comparison, Woodlore are much better for wide feet. The biggest Nordstrom don't fill my 6E shoes, the biggest Woodlore help them properly maintain shape. In my very niche use case, I have replaced my Nordstrom trees with these.
