If you lose volume in one bud, its not a software issue, it has to do with some film under the bud which, once removed, fixes the low volume issue. I think it has to do when this film gets wet, it goes from semi-permeable to solid

how to "fix" the low volume in one bud issue:

This is a killer deal, I got mine for about $140 and I love them. As far as quality goes, you're definitely paying for the compact wireless aspect, so don't expect audiophile sound. If you have a Samsung phone and are looking for wireless buds though, $80 is a steal for these. ESPECIALLY if you do any sort of working out or fitness using technology.

nvm i didnt read through the whole post lol.

should be well noted that you're most likely only to get an $80 store credit for the warranty once these are out of stock or discontinued.

Our team will provide you with a pre-paid return label (if applicable) to send the item back to us, at no cost to you. If no replacement is available you will be given a store credit for the amount the item was purchased for.

That store credit is kinda whack. I'd want a refund if they didn't work out.

Heard great things about these earbuds otherwise but might be worth it to spend a little more and go new. I've seen them on Ebay for ~$100-$110 when everyone was getting the cheap bundle from Samsung after buying an S9. I would check it out there so you can at least get your money back or get a new pair.

The 65t from Jabra has proven very reliable. Feedback I get on them is very positive. Airpods still by far the most popular though.

Tech rabbit returns are relatively easy. I've have bad luck with shot batteries from them. Usually a simple swap.

I really want to get these to compare to the elite 65t I just got from another great deal, but the store credit is a big downer for me. I have an S8 and a gear S3, and love the idea of on board storage. The problem is that most reviews suggest that they become uncomfortable after an hour or so. Also there seems to be consistent complaints that one of the buds seems to become noticeably less audible than the other. Considering how many single buds you can find online for these unlike the 65t that seems to substantiate the claim. I've only had the 65t for 2 days, but have had no comfort issues with 2 consecutive hours of in ear time. Only complaints so far is that I seem to have to repair them each time I put them in the holder and the ambient pass through doesn't seem to work well.

Single bud issue was the only reason why I had to go with 65T. I received it yesterday, mild discomfort to ear but they sound great and no audio disconnects at all from other side of the house. Very happy with the purchase. Besides, $80 for a refurb of these isn't a good price IMHO. If you have to, get new. You could really use the official warranty with any such tech product!

What's funny for me is that I had the opposite experience with the 65t. I bought them on that refurb deal a few weeks ago and they were VERY uncomfortable for me. To get a seal, I had to press them pretty deep into my ears (I might just have big ear canals) and it then pressed against my lower ear cartilage to where only about 20 mins of wear was uncomfortable. I also had the issue with one ear being "airy"-er than the other ear resulting in pretty bad audio quality on one side (in addition to feeling really unbalanced).

I returned the 65t and am still looking for a good fully wireless option and am thinking about these. I have a Note 8 so the Airpods are not the best option but these seem to be hit or miss about reviews.

I forget what I paid for these on a Best Buy sale during the winter but I absolutely love them. They actually stay in and remain comfortable for at least 2 hours.

Warranty says UP TO 1 year. Not a full one year warranty
