Any suggestions as far as hotel. This seems to be great for locals but the hotels are charging for parking or no breakfast. I was planning sesame place for August for my daughter birthday and this popped up.

I have never been nor know the area as far as deli"s around. If anyone can give the in"s and out"s it would be greatly appreciated

I took my kids(2,3 and 8) last year and they all enjoyed it. Even fun for mom and dad. I stayed at the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel that I booked as a priceline express deal for $114 (summer 2017). It was a nice hotel right across the street, free parking and free shuttle van to the park every 15 minutes. Its convenient to go back to the hotel in the afternoon for a nap. Also to grab lunch outside the park. We did a two-day park pass.

We enjoyed the trip so much, I am setting up the same trip for my niece and nephew this summer, for their birthdays.

Let me know if you have any questions, would be happy to help.

We arrived early, so we could park the car, go the the park, come back to check in at 3PM. When we got there I asked the desk for early check-in and they had a room available so they let us right in at about 10AM. If you want to try and save some money book through Priceline Express Deal, PM me and I help you sort our which mystery hotel is the correct one.

For the park, download the app. Gives you a little map of the park(actually park is pretty small) and showtimes of shows. You want to get to the show 20 minutes early, seating fills up fast. You can bring a *small* cooler with drinks and snacks/food. They have photo area where you can take pictures with the characters, check back at different time to see different characters. They take pictures to try to sell you, but are very good about letting you take cell pictures too. Early morning, late evening, and during the parades is when lines for rides will be shortest.

ugggggg.. Just bought season passes last month...
Responding to 90 Max..
There are a ton of hotel choices with in a ~20min drive from the park.. So you can just find one with free parking/breakfast. Sesame Place is a blast for younger kids.. It doesn't get as crowed as some of the bigger amusement parks.

Omg thanks both of you!! I was going to ask about deli"s etc to bring a sandwich but didn't want to come off as a cheap a$$. I do want my 2 year old to enjoy and seems like she will but don't want her eating pretzels, cinnabuns and funnel cakes. Also that was moms concern which was nap time. Thanks again

i was there for the first time 2 weeks ago and its fun and easy to navigate. you can bring in a small cooler of drinks and snacks, but no sandwiches or meals. You can exit the park and return the same day (just get hand stamped on your exit). Heck, you can even take the car out of the parking lot once you have your receipt.

Remember: you have in/out privileges as long as you save your parking receipt. We usually sneak out for lunch since there are a ton of food options nearby

Just noting that depending on which direction you're coming from, you may be within range of Dutch Wonderland, which is bigger, cleaner, and has a better clientele.

We just got back from Sesame Place; we stay at Spring HIll Suites due to location. It is literally across the street from Sesame Place (5min walk) and they have free breakfast. We don't pay for parking and if we want to take a break, we just walk back to the hotel, feed kids and are back at it without worrying about getting in a car. We literally walked back in our swim suites to get dry and went back for dry rides.

If you plan on going at least once before July 31st, it's actually the same price to get a season pass ($75) and pay $15 to bring a guest rather than get 2 weekend passes ($45 each).

Love Sesame Place! Great prices, especially for the day passes. FYI, the pricing on the season passes are great, but just be mindful that Sesame typically starts selling Season passes that carry over to 2019 around August. I'm sure it will be standard pricing, but you can decide what's a better value.

I've been there 3 times. Never had a problem bringing in sandwiches, drinks or anything else in a small cooler. Their dining options are limited and very slow. Plan on waiting a long time if you don't bring food.

As far as the deal's concerned, this is Groupon pricing. So nice, but not rare.

Funny....we are here right now. We are staying at the Springhills suite and the walking distance is actually less than some of the parking spots. Just a heads up, there is a Groupon for a 2 day ticket with a meal voucher for $68 per person which is what we did. Considering a meal is around $10-15, it ends up being a pretty good deal.

I had some people PM for how to find Sheraton Buck County on Priceline Express Deals, so I thought I might as well put the info in the thread.

I just tried looking up the hotel a few random days in July and August, some days it was not on the express deals, other days it was showing at $131 up to $175 so you will have to play around with dates. I am sure that it is the same hotel because even though it doesn't give me the name it says "You booked here before. Book again and save 22%"

So on express deals locations on the right hand side, unclick "Princeton - Trenton, NJ (all hotels)"and click the "Langhorne - Levittown, PA" option. That should bring you down to 4-6 hotels depending on availability of that day.

Its a 3.5-Star Hotel
Amenties are :Free Internet Free Parking Bed Choice Business Center
Fitness Center Pets Allowed Restaurant Swimming Pool
8+ Guest Rating
Let me know if anyone still needs help.
