For this product, it also shows me an additional saving of $75 statement credit if I sign up and use Discover It card..as well as $100 off select G-Sync monitors (For products sold by Amazon.com & Expires 10/31/18)..if that matters for anyone.

Only offer I get is the amazon prime rewards card savings of $70. I assume if I do that I have to put the whole product price on the card, though? If not, I could do the $10 for first reload of gift card balance and use gift cards for some of it.

I'm tempted to do it because it would be $330 plus tax and then I could sell my unopened rx 580 to make up for some of it. Maybe I could time my selling just right to where I'd only be out like $100 extra to go from rx 580 to gtx 1070.

I was going to do another credit card deal for $200 back, though, and hate to do this AND that other one.

wouldn't pay $330+tax for GTX 1070 its 2 year old GPU that is $349 MSRP from March 2017 price cut. I paid $350 for GTX 1080 during ebay 15% promo 2 weeks ago.

ahhhhh. I got approved for that rewards card, but now I realize if I do that $10 for reloading deal, I also would get $5 back in rewards, but I can't know my card number yet yo confirm the card number.

yeah and on the ebay deal you aren't guaranteed the manufacturer honors the warranty.

oh well, whether I order it or not, I got the $70. I could wait and see if a better deal comes up, but I haven't seen a 1060 go for even close to as low as $330 form a normal store.

Yeah why always buy EVGA one of few brands that allow second hand warranty tracked by serial number from when card shipped still has over 2 year warranty and runs perfect even had plastic on backplate still.

Does anyone know if you can even use the rewards card for the $100 reload? Maybe they'd void the $10 back due to you getting the $5 back in rewards...

you didn't say you got a used one... of course a used one and during an ebay sitewide deal is going to cost less than new from amazon. either way, I haven't decided yet. I don't game on the pc, only considering going as high as 1070/1080 in case some day I do game on it, but maybe I should just get a 1060 when they have a good deal on one, plus would give me time to do the reload.

Now hopefully I didn't screw myself over on doing the wells fargo card deal if I do it soon after already doing this amazon card one...

btw I forgot the card gives 5% back... so it wouldn't be $330, it would be less due to 5% back on the portion I pay with the new card. But I had hoped to reload $100 for the $10 and the $5 and I already have another $100 gift card and the new $70 for being approved, so not much of the cost would be put onto the new card.

Still, "probably" I should just get a 1060.

either way if I do make the purchase... I'd get 5% off on the $100 I was going to reload with. I'd just use it towards the product instead, but then would be putting off my $10 back.

I forgot the $10 back takes a few days, too... if I just really wanted this deal right now, it would be $400 - $70 bonus gc - $13.50 back in rewards = around $316.50, then I have a $100 gc someone gave me.

I do have to pay tax, though... but I have to do that everywhere except b&h.

would wait till next month to see what this announcement if they release the new cards next month gtx 10 series will drop 30% in value overnight just remember these GPUs are 2 years old already.

yeah but there is no guarantee prices drop below what they are right now around prime day. especially if they announce no new cards until next year.

one thing's for sure, I better ell my rx 580 asap before it goes down in value, though, just in case... if I do want an nvidia card. Only reason i want one is because powerdirector works better with nvidia apparently.

Just looking back at months of deals, no 1070 has been under this price without strings attached, such as ebay coupons.

Oh well, I got the gc for applying for the card and will start getting 5% back there and whole foods, so better than nothing, even if I don't decide to buy a gpu there. But now I have $175 in gift cards there and nothing to buy if I don't get a gpu. lol. And soon to be $100 for reloading, $10 back on that, $10 for first download of the amazon app, $10 for buying $10 at whole foods.

I'm only doing a prime trial, btw. they don't yank the credit card back away once you cancel prime, do they? lol.

Still too much, damn. Those saying the inflation is over are smoking something colorful found in the Amazon.

How is a coupon a "string attached"?
