Bluetooth:
If you use bluetooth (ie: streaming music from echo, home, cell), be aware that there is a flaw in high-end Denon receivers. It will automatically switch to any BT in the area regardless of what you're doing. If you're watching a movie and it gets pinged by a BT device, get out your controller to fix it. And this can happen every few seconds, you just have to disconnect all BT devices. Support claims this is WAI. Their low-end devices have an option to turn this off, but not their high-end, lol.

Will be 799 in 2 months...
Same as it was last year with the 4300 model. It was 799 from about August till December.
Yeah you got to wait two more months. Why not wait another two months, you can get the 4500 for $900.

Southern California is sold out by me. Dang. This seems like a good deal for people by stores with stock.

Really loving my 4400, that I got last month when that had it for the same price.
Drove 2hrs each way (Cin,OH to Fisher, IN), but we also made a full day of shopping in the area.

Also was the first time I been to a ThinkGeek store that was in a local mall, and almost bought a full size Destiny Gjallarhorn for $99. Wink

Because it's dumb.
You're not getting any more power, yet you're paying more. This time last year, the 4300 was 799... 125wpch. Now the 4400 is 899.... same 125wpch. You're talking about a 4500 for 900???? Come on.
I don't know anyone that upgrades receivers based on power ratings. 99.9% of the time, the same model line receiver does not increase in power from year to year. People upgrade to newer receivers for newer features (new surround formats, connectivity, etc).
