I have this on two Amex business cards, but on none of my blue cash everyday cards.
I just called my local Buy Buy Baby, and they said they do sell third party gift cards.

Thanks, there's one right around the corner from my office. Just picked up a $50 Starbucks card split across two Amex cards.

Didn't look closely but saw the typical restaurants like PF Changs, Applebees, Panera, Starbucks, etc. Saw Home Depot and Lowes. Fairly decent variety.

Both BuyBuy Baby and Bed Bath and Beyond are run by the same owner. The coupons and gift cards are interchangeable even. BuyBuy Baby is the go to for baby shower registries, much like wedding registries at BBB.

These Amex offers suck. I've done them twice now, and neither time it goes thru. I've complained and gotten one resolved, the other is in limbo somewhere. Amex is such a PITA to deal with, it just isn't worth it.

I've done a ton of Amex offers and only one has not shown up, Sam's new membership one. I complained (I wasn't really a new member so I didn't have a leg to stand on), it didn't work so I returned the membership. A month later, got the credit even though it was returned to the same card. For me, Amex has always been top notch.

I've never had an issue and I've used it several times (Tervis, Publix, Total Wine, Google Express...off the top of my head).

The only time I had a problem, it was actually user-error because I used PayPal to check out. Even though I used my AmEx card, the charge AmEx saw was technically PayPal as the vendor. I don't recall which offer that was, but I never made that mistake again lol.
