Why add powerlink to the bundle when it's for a single card. Might as we just take it out and reduce the price.
The powerlink is the thing that moves your power supply connectors to the end of your card. It is only for one graphics card each. It isn't the sli bridge and the powerlink retails for $20 and the sli bridge is around $10 so it's not like excluding it would have saved tons of money anyway

Ps. This is so your computer is an ad for EVGA, hence the reduced price comparitively. I'm still waiting to upgrade my gpu as it could be as early as the end of this month that team green launches their new architecture. Good price if you have to build

The new card will be priced much higher MSRP than last generation. AMD has nothing in the pipeline to keep Nvidia in check for at least a year.

Sure, but won't the new gpus not effectively further reduce the demand for the 10 series?

Not really unless there is a very large number of people that's dying to play the latest title at 4k 100 fps.

Supply of the new gen will be limited for the first few months until non-reference cards come out.

I'm thinking raytracing will increase GPU demand, and alot of people keep saying "well you need a 4k display for the next series of GPU's". No. No you do not. You can turn on superscaling for even better quality with modern games on a 1080p display.

Right now DDR price fixing is damaging the market. The big dependance on bitcoin mining didn't help either. Once china's ram factory starts rolling out dirt cheap memory chips, it'll be interesting to see how Micron, Samsung, and Hynix will fare.

My theory is they'll convince excessive export taxes to keep the playing field "fair".

I don't think we will see raytracing in game for at least 4-5 years. Epic had to use a 50k machine to render that Star War real-time raytracing demo.

I don't really see this as a deal. Why would I buy a microATX board with only 2 ram slots with a mid tower, I would rather spend less money on an ATX Z370. Case has terrible front intake, bad cable management, and most likely cannot put radiator up top due to space constraints. There have been deals on just as good GPUs, PSUs, and better cases.

You solved it, they want you to buy their old junk.

Actually I am looking for a ATX board with 2 slots. 4 slot is still dual channel and 2 slot board usually has better memory OC potential due to no split on memory channel wire.
You are correct tho. I won't buy this case and board because EVGA is not good at it.

You nailed it,so many who don't fully understand how much power it takes for true ray tracing will fall for it and buy a new GPU.This is akin to TV's selling u HDR support without the proper nits sure u get a taste of it but u dont get the full meal.
