Been a insane gear grabbing month for me and I though I would share in the pain to my fellow GAS inflicted musicians. Live chat got me an additional 13% off bringing my flame top Supro 2030 Hampton to $345. Hard case is also on sale on backorder for $59.

So are Gretsch, Ibanez, Epiphone, etc.....Being made in the USA is great but the industry has changed quite a bit in the past decade and PLENTY of great guitars are coming out of Asia. USA also does not mean "perfect" (looking at you Gibson).

Wow- great price on these. They sound terrific, and I love the look of them. The neck shape wasn't for me, but I really wanted Supro to catch on so they would keep on with it and maybe offer some different neck profiles that I might've dug more. Super tempting at those prices, but I have pulled too many triggers on too many instruments. Still- thanks for sending this out OP.

Indonesia. They MSRP is a little deceptive... these can be picked up for about $600~700 usually. Still a good deal if you're looking for one.

It is probably not a bad deal but these are not $1499 guitars. I think they were retailing for around $800.

When I tried the code it told me these were exempt. Then I opened the chat, asked and got it.

What was the neck shape on the one you tried? Thanks!

Back of the headstock on photos of Reverb listings indicates Indonesia as the country of origin.

Back in the day these were USA made. Today China or Indonesia be'd my guess. They are not very forthcoming in telling us where they are made... that says a lot.

I don't think they have a specific profile name- but it the model I played was the Westbury. It was kind of thick in the wrong places for me personally, but not a bad neck. Just not my preferred feel.

Yea, can't argue with that. In todays world IMHO USA first (sometimes) after that I've found good guitars from (in order)

Japan
Korea
Mexico
China

Indonesia is last on my list. But I'd have no objection to trying one from Indonesia. If I like it the country or origin wouldn't sway me all that much.

I was lucky enough to inherit a 1955 Telecaster. It's a bit shaggy but it's rock solid.

Again all opinion.
