That happened to me last week, when they offered this deal originally with a bigger promo code/discount and it sold out. I kept checking back, and they re-stocked it after a few days. You need to be in a zipcode near a Costco and 24 Hour Fitness to buy this.

You cannot use a fake zipcode to buy it elsewhere as they mail you the actual certificate, it's not sent via email.

You can use a zipcode of another City/State where you can receive your mail and have someone forward it to you. That would work.

Good luck!

I just checked Los Angeles Zip Codes 90064 & 90001, Lucerne Valley Zip Code 92356, Tempe, Arizona Zip Code 85284 and Las Vegas Zip Code 89107 and all are showing "in stock" for both membership Types Super and Super Sport.

Hopefully you have another Zip Code of a friend or family member that works, so you can send it there, and then they can forward it to you once they receive it! ;-)

Good luck!

search costco.com and find out. if usual price is $299 why go through the trouble of buying it through GEx?

i've been with costco and 24 long enough to know their online price is the same as their in-store price. granted they are separate division of sales, prices have been consistent. feel free to show some proof but i digress.

I am already a member but membership expires in August. I see that the conditions say that the deal is available for those without a current membership.

Do you know if 24 Hour Fitness enforces this? Can I buy the membership at Costco and still use at 24 Hour or will I now have to start paying full price going forward?

I have renewed my membership using the Costco 2 year membership twice now. Most of the time the workers will be cool and renew it without any issues. I have also reactivated it by registering online as well.

It is too bad they don't do prepaid deals anymore. Years ago I paid $500 for 3 years including super sport with $50 a year lifetime renewal. They jacked it to $150 a year a couple years ago which is still a great deal but there is a class action lawsuit against 24 for misleading people on prepaid. I use the 24 gym probably 4 times a year now as I prefer LA fitness in my area but still keep paying yearly to keep this rate.

I bought the Costco membership and went there to "renew" this morning. My first Costco bought 2-year had expired on July 31. The person at the counter refused to use the Costco coupon and advised that I return at Costco.

Does anyone know if I might be able to renew online? What steps do I take to ensure that I don't end up losing $400 after scratching the coupon code. Thanks!

Try again with a different person. Someone else will renew it for you. Had this happened to me before. Also this will help make the process faster:

1. Scratch the code
2. Register online with a different phone number ( https://www.24hourfitness.com/costco)
3. Go to 24 ( helps that it's someone else at the 24 or even at a different location) and give them the confirmation code
4. If they ask if you're new, say yes. They won't know.
5. Register with the new number and you're all set to go

Wow! Thanks for the detailed reply. Does the system require date of birth and/or driver's license? Wouldn't they try to match it in their system? I can definitely use my cell phone as I used my home phone earlier. Thanks again.
