Eero is my preference however it usually is the most expensive option... but for performance and ease of set up and dependability. I'm not an expert to rifle off all the reasons why but there are some great review websites out there to assist.

Tried many & found Orbi to be most consistent. Amzn has 30 off promo on Orbi but I would wait for Prime day.

I have this. I don't think it's the best mesh network out there but I do think it fits my needs extremely well for the price. It is very simple to setup, (you can only use a mobile device app though). It lists all devices currently connected / ever connected. The speeds they're getting. It has built in website blocker for those sketchy websites which works well. You can assign profiles and high priority devices. The only negative in my opinion is that you don't have a lot of advanced router options found on other devices. You can't assign IP addresses to a particular device and all that other good stuff. Personally for the price, it was a great option for us! (I do use the Ethernet backhaul not the Wi-Fi backhaul)

Thanks, I've been eyeing this for a while and this is very tempting. The only thing that is holding me back is the fact that Prime day is right around the corner and I know that Google wifi will be on sale as well, just don't know how much.

Read the reviews before getting netgears orbi. It's the fastest but that's if and when it works. seriously read the reviews.

It shows on the app when you type in sneak peek in the search bar at what's coming for Prime Day. I'm waiting for the same thing. I have it added to my list along with the Ring Pro doorbell hoping the prices get down to the lows we've seen posted in SD.

Unless you have a huge area to cover why do you even need aimesh? Seems like most home users really don't need it that want it so bad.

Netgear has a huge problem with their firmware. I was ready to throw out my r7000 nighthawk after upgrading , downgrading, reset nvram , etc x15. Finally gave up on Netgear firmware and loaded asuswrt and it works like the day I bought it. If you look at Netgear forums you'll see what I mean

Yea but if you're buying and spending so much on orbi you shouldn't have to do that. I don't even know if orbi is compatible with any other 3rd party firmware

Any advantage of the Google WiFi mesh over this TP Deco system? I was about to wait till the Amazon Google prime deal but this product seems very similar.
