$72 on a pair of Asics? You could get 3 pairs of other models for the same price. Are these really worth the additional cost?

Yeah they are really good running shoes...If you like to run a lot. If not you could settle for more economic versions.

Such ugly colors. Bunch of white soles. Best looking one has yellow soles. What do these moron designers think?

Only 1 pair is that price. Rest of better colors are $15-20 more.

I'm thinking about buying this shoe, but I want it to drop to about 60 bucks.

I have this shoes sister shoe, the Nimbus model, cost me about 80 bucks, which I think it is worth it, compared to their cheaper model, the venture, which I bought for about 40 bucks.

Only bad thing about my nimbus are the shoe laces, which both snapped, but the quality of the shoe is there. I wouldn't spend full price on these shoes, 160 bucks, but for <80 they are good value.

Maybe you should try on a pair of Kayano or Nimbus at Foot Locker, Road Runner or Nordstrom so you can find out if the level of Asics comfort is noticeable. I buy both...Nimbus for its super spongy cushion, Kayano for ankle/lateral support. Nimbus has less ankle support.

That is true. But, because of the shoe's support, these are worth more than MSRP to many.

60 is a really low price point on the kayano. I jump on them at 80, and have paid up to 95 for them. You might find 60 but it'll be hard.

The kayano is a great shoe, but I've been wearing the GT2000 more than them. I think I like them better. I'll wear kayano, nimbus, or the gt's if I can find them at a discount in my size. Finding a deal on 4e's is the hard part

Gotta say guys, had Kayanos since the 19s and these are perfect. Currently have 3 pairs of 24s that I'm working through and this will be my 4th. No break-in period for me (Kayano 23s I had a 100 mile period on all my pairs).

Anyway, grabbed the grey for $76 shipped, many thanks!

Are these a viable alternative to the Nike Lunarglide (7 or 8)?

The Nimbus are for under pronators. How can you be comfortable in both??? Haha. The Kayanos are for over pronators. I'm going to assume you just buy for fashion and aren't a runner.
