Yes I checked it out and it kept the $55 price for some reason. Maybe it is a Region based deal?

Maybe it's new customers? $55 is still a great deal with free shipping and no tax.

Does anyone have experience using these with Captive Portal in hotels? I was thinking about picking one of the basic streaming sticks up for $35 for hotel usage, or the Amazon FireTV streaming stick for $20 on sale today.

Not sure you can do it directly from the device but I have a travel router that can handle captive portals and relay it on another ssid. Hootoo tripmate travel router.

Supposedly they now have the feature built-in (but I was hoping to get someone to chime in on how well it works): https://blog.roku.com/hotel-and-d...oku-device
