Has cell phone protection. If you pay your recurring cell phone bill with the card you are protected up to $600 from damage or theft. Have never seen that benefit on any card before. Pretty good for $0 annual fee.
Tried this feature once out. No response after I send the claim.. It was not possible to reach them, only email available. Maybe you will have more luck.

does it qualify for amex my rewards program?
That's what pop my head. Amex is the only card I don't have. This is tempting.

The points earned by this card can be redeemed towards statement credit at a fixed 1 cent/point ratio, so the 30k offer is worth $300. If you have Wells Fargo Visa Signature at the same time, you can use the points to book flights for up to 1.5 cents/point. If so, then the 30k offer is worth about $450!
I have the Signature so thanks for the replay Smilie

I tried it about 2 years ago with Wells Fargo. All I needed to do was send them the phone bill being payed with my credit card, receipt of repair and i was reimbursed. Not That difficult. I submitted a claim regarding a cracked iPhone screen.

It does not. Membership Rewards are run by Amex and only available on vanilla or co-branded cards.

Why did Wells Fargo team up with American Express I don't get it how come they don't release the card under Wells Fargo
You do understand that there's no such thing as a Wells Fargo credit card network...

Amex is just the merchant network, guys. Wells Fargo is the creditor and the one doing the heavily lifting.

But I don't care. I literally do not care enough. After my work ID, drivers license, insurance cards, and cash, I can fit 4 credit cards in my wallet. It's a slim wallet and I love it. Target REDcard is one because I shop there frequently. My debit card is another for when I need to pull out cash. My daily driver (whatever it ends up being) is another. That leaves one more slot. So sure, I could do an analysis of my purchases and figure out what would be best to go there. Right now it's my Discover. Meh.
You should look at the Target App it allows you to use your Red Card thru the app. I've eliminated carrying my red card with this new feature. Also you could always try to find a cell phone case that carries credit cards. I have a Spigen that protects very well and has space for 2 credit cards. I only have my DL, two credit cards, and a debit card in my wallet. And 2 back up CC in my phone case. Also by having a samsung phone I've been able to load practically all of my cards. There have been times I've forgotten my wallet at home yet I've been able to buy things using samsung pay or if that didnt work one of my CC in my phone case.

I get it. I got confused.Bank go with Visa or Mastercard for their card. I just never see Amex get the job.

believe me... there are far scummier companies than Wells Fargo. At least they're surviving and making attempts to repair things.. scummier companies would just take the money and run and claim bankruptcy

I've been with them for over a decade and never had issues w/o unauthorized accounts.. Yes it gets annoying when a banker pushes products on you everytime you make a deposit, but its your own millennial's ass's fault for not being able to say no to things. As far as the unauthorized account openings, dont know what to say about that... one branch manager decided it would be a good idea to boost numbers and every other bank decided to play

I have my propel card for the same reason, couldn't believe how easy it was to get $350, minus the deductible, for my cracked S7 screen.
