I own these and absolutely love them. They replaced my Sennheiser HD 25-1 MK II's, so that should tell you something about how great they are. For $80 they're a no brainer.

Extremely good isolation from the outside. The review explicitly discusses it with a frequency attenuation graph.

Thanks! I was waiting for a deal on 990's for home, but these 1350's should be great for the office (Isolation for me, and no bleed-out for everyone else)

I have a set of Bose qc15's I use for office and travel. Looking to get further down the audiophile rabbit hole. Would these be a worthwhile step in that direction?

Thanks in advance for the advice

Yes. Obviously no active noise-cancellation, but thats the reason why they will sound better as well.

These are the most uncomfortable headphones I've used. I can't use them for very long because of the pads.

I have a pair. Still can't figure out how to deal with clamping. Tried to stretch with basketball. Improved a little but still painful for more than 30 minutes.

How long did you have it on the basketball? I would put it on the basket ball until its comfortable for you.
