Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones - Prime Day Deal $98

Good sound, Average ANC. Good for the price even if you don't use the ANC. EQ controls via Sony app. I actually like the Anker Soundcore Space NC more, but $98 is a good deal for Sony w/ app control.

Not sure how widespread this is, but the 3 units I purchased and subsequently returned, all had an "imbalance" when the ANC was activated. There was a distinct increase of white noise on the left side, while the right did not have much white noise. However, as stated, the price is still solid even if you never use the ANC feature.

The Sony sound better and have larger drivers than the Sennheiser 4.50. The overall build quality on the Sony is better as well. For ANC, however, I think the Sennheiser unit is better, given the 3 sets of the Sony I had were imbalanced (white noise louder on one side vs. the other).

The ear pads on the Sennheiser are nice and plush, but may be a bit small for some. The protein leather material on the Sennheiser ear pads also are relatively low quality and accumulates sweat quickly. The Sony mitigates sweat to a degree. The Sennheiser are entirely plastic (including the ear cup sliders). Not sure if the headband is metal, but it wouldn't be surprising if it's plastic as well.

The Sennheiser will seal better than the Sony, so for those that have issues with seal, the Sennheiser is the better choice, unless you have larger ears (see above). Purely for sound, the Sony is a mile ahead IMHO.
