No type C, no PD, and no QC makes this a bad deal. I used to be a huge Anker advocate. Now they've dropped off and RavPower stepped up as far as power banks go.

I don't know a ton about USB types, why exactly is that a bad thing?

if i just want a power bank for my 2 year old phone, and my macbook does not have usb-c (and i don't see myself replacing it anytime soon) would this be a good deal? i may update my phone next year which will likely be another lightning-based iphone. afaik apple is not switching to usb-c on their phones yet.

i'm more concerned about weight / capacity ratio since i will be lugging this thing on my backpack every day. normally i prefer something smaller/lighter.
