How does this TV compare to the 49" Samsung MU8000 that Best Buy has on sale for the same price? I know its a little bigger and comes with Android TV...

Is a Costco Membership required to buy this one?

Anyone know how picture quality compares to the TCL 6 series? This seems to have a 120hz panel and more variety in the inputs, so it could be a good option if picture quality is comparable.

It's on display at Best Buy same TV slightly different model number (big shock) it looks awesome on display..... I'll know more when mine arrives in a few days..... Some say BB will price match to Costco BUT I like the return options etc at Costco vs BB.... So I'm willing to wait for it.

Different, lower quality set. This tv isn't $399 at BB.

Bought this yesterday, havent recieved yet of course but looks like its impossible to beat the picture quality at this size and price when viewed straight on. Had this in Best Buy cart online on sale, then checked costco for even better price.

there's no professional reviews of this set to discern anything.

120hz is mostly worthless that's why this cheapo set has it, if that's what you're judging by.

every tv looks great to some non expert.

I'd need hard input lag, contrast, and HDR brightness numbers for starters. Do you have any of those or any links to those?

i think finally rtings is gonna review a hisense soon, not sure which model, but it's like 3rd on their to purchase list. so, maybe like a month at a review per week.

Its a $500 4k tv lol. Dont need 120hz because i dont watch sports. Im not an expert so if tv looks great to a non expert then that's perfect. I have my LG OLED in the main room. H8C is reviewed on rtings which isnt as good as this h8e.

No.... BB wants 699 for it.Same TV diff model numbers .....Spoke with Hisense and they confirmed its the H9E Plus series It has 3-4 model numbers that it sells by.
Look Im NO TV expert buy any stretch but this thing has a great pic as seen in BB display and i putzed around the menus just a bit and i LIKE the Android interface PLUS i get 90 days to put it through its paces.

Pretty much ALL of the reviews on Costco are from people who got the tv for free as part of some promotion. And they ALL gave it five stars. Interesting....
