Ok deal. Not amazing. The GPU prices are dropping like flies. Still say wait.

How long of a wait do you think? I'm currently in need of a gaming/streaming PC and looking to build one soon

I know prices keep dropping, but even at the cheapest sale prices, you can't beat this. If you add in the Amex $100 off, its slick.

If you are in need of a high end gaming pc for the low, this is it.

Oh man, just bit on the EVGA 1080 Ti kit for $999. Kinda tempted by this since I wouldn't have to purchase CPU & RAM additionally (I happen to have an M.2 SSD and some storage handy). Anyone have some real world experience with 1080 Ti vs 1070 Ti? Plan on hooking this up to my 4K TV for couch gaming.

Defiantly worth it, I built this pc with the same exact part for 1350. Even if gpu prices went 100 dollars under msrp (which I doubt they will) this pc is still a better deal.

If you want to play all your games at 4K 60fps, than a 1080 TI. However a 1070 TI will run all games at 60fps at 1440p. It depends on whether or not you want to play 4K, as the 1080ti is really the only graphics card that can run games at 60fps.

Thanks for the info - I'll stick with the 1080 Ti then. Hopefully some good deals on CPU and RAM coming up now Smilie
